His Imperial Highness, Prince Don Louis Pepin, professionally known as, Dr. Donald Lee Pippin, Jr. is the Founder, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer for Prince Pèpin Designs, Inc. His Imperial Highness is the Prince Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Knights of the Imperial Order of the Carolingian Empire, a sovereign nation and a religious lay order, which operates the American Association known as Noblesse Oblige Charities, Inc. Additionally, he owns and operates several businesses worldwide. His corporate structure ranges from international trade and finance to real estate development to international trusts and charities. He holds three doctorial degrees, two from Berkley University and one from Loyola University. He has organized, gathered and developed the unique eco-friendly building system used by the company today. David Lawrence Butler is our project manager. He began his career in construction in the US Armed Forces. He was a part of the Navy Seabees and participated in several major projects around the world before being attached to an Admiral in Hawaii as an administrator and project supervisor. After his initial career in the Navy; David went to work for the Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island as their project manager. He was in charge of all facets of the daily plant operations, as well as, new construction and renovations with every Episcopal Church in the State, 2 church owned nursing homes, and a retirement village for clergy. During his 17 years in this position, he organized the restoration of 7 historical structures to national and State standards for Historical landmarks, including the Diocesan Cathedral. Since his time with the Church; Mr. Butler has acted as a quality control officer for a computer manufacturing organization and as a specialty manager for one of the national home refurbishment and repair companies located in Florida. He oversees all our community development projects, as well as, managing the physical plants for all our other properties.
Joan Marie Caraway is our community relations representative and client design coordinator. She is a trained psychologist with a background in fine arts and design. She is able to take the emotional and psychological needs of the client and translate those needs into the design aspects of their home. Every home is unique and has its own personality and style. This concept is true even within our Community Developments. There may be a limited selection of style and homes but each can be transformed through minor changes to create a fresh and revealing façade.
Michele Marie Pippin is our financing coordinator. We have our own mortgage lending arm and offer our financing services to all our clients. Our financing arm is called Quick MortgagesUSA, Inc. Ms. Pippin has an extensive financial background in accounting and has been on the IRS list for authorized representatives for individuals being audited either personally or professionally. She is able to take a client through the hard road of financing without making them feel stressed or alone. Michele has a way of making everyone feel like family.
Katherine Kay Butler is our office manager. She has a degree in accounting from the Rhode Island Business Institute, a part of the University of Rhode Island. She started her professional career in business by doing renegotiated reinsurance contracts for American Universal Insurance. She moved from insurance to banking and was a mortgage investigator for Rhode Island Hospital Trust Bank, which later became the Bank of America. When she relocated to Florida, with her husband, David Butler, she became a financial analyst with MET Life investigating money laundering under the Federal Compliancy laws associated with the Patriot Act of 2001. Ms. Butler manages the inner office and accounting departments with professionalism and ease.
Prince Pèpin Designs, Inc. uses several structural, mechanical, environmental and HVAC engineers from around the world. The same is true for our architects, legal advisors and Real Estate Consultants. We have several firms we use on a consistent basis and all of them are familiar with the environmental systems of our design and are certified as Green. PPD has contracts with the various groups around the world and can operate in over 64 countries.
