This brief introduction to the founder, Dr. Donald Lee Pippin, Jr. DD, PhD, JD, who is also known as His Imperial Highness Prince Don Louis Pèpin and is the Prince Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Knights of the Imperial Order of the Carolingian Empire, helps you understand the history of Prince Pèpin Designs, Inc. and the secondary company, Dream Home Developments, Inc.
Dr. Pippin started his university training at the age of fifteen, where he studied the fields of Medicine and Engineering. He was headed into the newest science of the time being Genetic Engineering. This required in the undergraduate level, a person to study pre-med, with an emphasis on chemistry or biology; and also one had to study engineering that was either done in electrical, civil, or mechanical. Dr. Pippin studied molecular biology and civil engineering. The exact factual description would be a double major in molecular biology and civil engineering, with a double minor in computer science and psychology. Dr. Pippin left medicine after two medical internships because of personal health matters at that time, and instead diversified his interests. However, he never gave up his love of both engineering and medicine and has dabbled in both over the various decades since he first entered into academia.
Ingenuity, construction, design, and structure are a part of Dr. Pippin’s blood and lineage. The choice of civil engineering dealt with a family tradition. Dr. Pippin’s grandfather, Mitchell Ramsdale Caraway, was the president of Al Fab Steel, as well as, the inventor of the pre-fabricated staircase. Mr. Caraway also built the initial structures associated with the University of South Florida and designed the famous people transportation system used at the Tampa International Airport (TIA). Dr. Pippin’s great uncles, his grandfather’s brothers, were also engineers and held company patents with Texas Instruments, General Motors, and McDonell Douglas. His Uncle Edward held over 21 patents on the space shuttle alone. Furthermore, Dr. Pippin’s great grandfather and great-great grandfather were also civil engineers and inventors. Thus, it is innate to the family tree, for the creative ability to see the unseen, and then make it into a working product for the masses.
Dr. Pippin started Prince Pèpin Designs originally as a company to aid in the redevelopment of communities destroyed by natural disasters, in third world countries. Prince Pèpin Designs, Inc. (PPD) as a sub-company to Pèpin International Industries, LTD, in the mid-1990s, was associated with the reconstruction of the earthquake destroyed regions of Turkey and India, plus aided with the villages destroyed in China from the flash floods and mudslides. PPD has helped rebuild thousands of homes, schools and businesses around the world. |
